The central government-aided Lok Ma Chau Fangcang facility has a construction area of 112,100 square meters, which can provide 10,056 beds and includes admission building, discharge building, sanitary passing area, inspection center and CT room, warehouse and pharmacy, sub-control center convergence room, medical waste station, sewage treatment station and other supporting facilities. The Lok Ma Chau Fangcang facility started construction on March 22, 2022 and was completed and accepted on April 25.
